The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park in Cañon City hosts its annual winter lights show from late November to mid-December. The Bridge of Lights holiday event runs over four weekends leading up to Christmas.

Visitors to the Bridge of Lights will get a chance for an evening walk under the lights across “America’s Bridge”, the country’s highest suspension bridge. This year’s event happens from Friday to Sunday, 5 to 8 pm, November 28-30, December 5-7, 12-14, 19-21, 2025.

Meander your way through glittering Christmas lights on your way to the Royal Gorge Bridge. You’ll be able to cross the entire suspension bridge. A limited walking and viewing area is open after you cross, but the rest of the park is closed to access.

Some of the highlights for 2025 Bridge of Lights include:

  • Photos with Santa — capture the moment with Santa Claus himself
  • Cookie & ornament decorating — hands-on fun for all ages
  • Christmas Market — shop local artists and crafters for the perfect holiday finds
  • Seasonal treats — hot cocoa and goodies available for purchase
  • Light-up souvenirs — add a festive glow to your night

Around the Bridge of Lights.

Frosty’s Snack Shack (now at Cafe 1230) will be serving up warm drinks and refreshments for sale. Get coffee, cider, hot chocolate, cookies, and other grab-and-go items for your stroll.
