Mini Derby at Sky View Farm - Castle Rock

The 5th Annual Colorado Non-Profit (CNP) Mini-Derby takes place again at Sky View Farm during the Kentucky Derby. This early May event in Castle Rock invites you to come out for a day of miniature horse races, wine and whiskey tastings, and auctions to raise money for local non-profits.

This year’s Mini Derby happens from 1 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025.

Doors open at 1 pm for the Mini Derby at Sky View Farm. The Mini Horse Races start at 2:30 pm. Pick the winner and you can get a special prize. At 3:30 pm, you can challenge your group to Hobby Horse Races around the track. The 151st Kentucky Race is broadcast live on a jumbo screen at 4 pm.
