The Lewis Ice Arena is the only skating rink open year-round, including summer, in Aspen. Completed in 2003 and located inside the Aspen Recreation Center, the arena has a 200 ft by 85 ft NHL-sized rink that can seat up to 500.
Boasting all the necessary amenities, like locker rooms and rentals, shower rooms, skate rentals, skate sharpening services and vending machines/snack bars, you’ll have everything you need on-site. Programs offered include public skating, figure skating and ice hockey.
The Lewis Ice Arena is home to Aspen’s annual figure skating displays and hockey league games. Private events such as birthday or corporate parties can be booked as well.
