Sky Ute Casino is an impressive gambling house in Southwest Colorado, featuring both an on-site hotel and an RV campground for accommodations. It’s tucked away about 20 miles southeast of Durango and 45 miles southwest of Pagosa Springs.
Showcasing Las Vegas-style action in the small town of Ignacio, Sky Ute Casino has an array of games and entertainment. Run by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, it’s one of Colorado’s two Indian casinos found in the state.

Games include hundreds of slots and various table games, including blackjack, three-card poker, craps, a roulette wheel, and multiple-table non-smoking poker room with Texas & Omaha hold ’em. Tournaments are held several times a week, usually from Friday through Monday. In addition, there is a 200-seat bingo hall and SportsBook.
Special events occur regularly at Sky Ute Casino, like bands in the 49 Lounge, local and national boxing, and MMA fights, as well as other various entertainment. Additionally, there is a bowling alley, arcade, and 18-hole mini-golf. Free wi-fi is available in the casino.
Hotel and RV Camping
There is a large hotel and an RV park for those spending the night. Both rooms and suites are available. Guests of the 140-room hotel have access to a swimming pool, hot tub, and lazy river.
There is also a salon and spa at the casino. Pop-up tent-style campers are NOT allowed in the RV Park. Full hookups include water, sewer, and hookups for 20, 30, and 50 amps. Camper amenities include showers, laundry, pool, fitness center access, and Wi-Fi.

Dining
Dining is easy to find with three great restaurants inside: Rolling Thunder Grill, Seven Rivers, and Willows Cafe Bistro. Alcohol is served in the bar but not on the casino floor.
The nicest spot is Seven Rivers, which showcases fine steaks, seafood, and spirits in an upscale steakhouse setting. It’s open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the Willows Cafe Bistro has you covered. While the Rolling Thunder Grill offers lunch and dinner service daily.
