Red Dolly Casino Black Hawk CO Parking Lot
Red Dolly Casino in Black Hawk, CO.

Red Dolly Casino – Black Hawk

FacebookTwitter

Tucked away up the hill toward Central City and removed from the glitz and glamor of Black Hawk’s main street, the Red Dolly is the town’s oldest casino. Opened on May 18, 1992, this friendly gambling establishment resides just inside the Black Hawk city limits. It’s a smaller old-time casino with a fine array of 130 new and classic slot machines, as well as video poker.

The staff is warm and welcoming, with many of the employees at the casino for more than a decade. They have a full-service bar and an on-site American fare steak restaurant, which features the renowned $6.99 prime rib. The Red Dolly Casino is open every day from 8 am to 2 am (or later) and there’s free parking directly beside the casino.

Where everybody knowns your name.

“The best food on the mountain, period. Prime rib prepared to perfection by Chef Danielle.” The on-site restaurant features a great range of food at reasonable prices. Stop by for a delicious meal and then try your luck at a few slots. Choose from tasty starters like mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, and jumbo shrimp cocktail.

Try their famous homemade soup, green chili, or spicy chili Verde. They have a good selection of salads, sandwiches, burgers, and Mexican fare. The claim to fame though is the entrees, which include the aforementioned prime rib dinner, sirloin steak, bacon-wrapped filet, St. Louis-style BBQ ribs, roast beef, roasted chicken, and country fried steak or chicken.

It’s not all turf though, they have bacon-wrapped shrimp, trout, and Atlantic salmon. Or go Italian with pasta dishes and top it off with a decadent dessert.

It should be mentioned that promotions and specials occur regularly, so be sure to check their website for details.
