{Dog sledding near Aspen, CO. Photo: krabloonik.com} Established in 1974, Krabloonik offers fine dining and a dazzling two hour trip through the Snowmass wilderness. It’s located less than a mile from Snowmass Village by Aspen.
Each sled can carry two adults and a small child, in addition to the guide. Eight to ten Alaskan huskies pull the sled. Morning and afternoon lunch trips, as well as a twilight dinner ride. Guests can take turn driving at the halfway point.

There are three rides per day, at 9am, 12:15pm and 4pm. Trips depart daily during the season, whether it’s snowing or sunny. They last over an hour and include a campfire stop, complete with warm soup and coco.
During the high season from December 20th to January 8th, reserve your spot early to guarantee a ride. Children under 3 and pregnant women are not allowed on the ride. Remember to dress warmly in layers and waterproof clothes, with gloves, hats, boots and neck warmers.
