Established in 1974, Krabloonik offers fine dining and a dazzling two-hour trip through the Snowmass wilderness, less than a mile from Snowmass Village by Aspen. Each sled, which is pulled by eight to ten Alaskan huskies, can carry two adults and a small child, in addition to the guide.
Krabloonik Dogsledding
There are three rides per day, lasting over an hour, at 11 am, 1:15 pm, and 4 pm. Trips depart daily during the season, whether it’s snowing or sunny, and include a campfire stop, complete with warm soup and cocoa. Additionally, there is an ATV Safari that lasts about an hour and a half that gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the world of dog sledding.
During the high season, from December 20th to January 8th, reserve your spot early to guarantee a ride. Remember to dress warmly in layers and waterproof clothes, with gloves, hats, boots, and neck warmers. It should be noted that children under 3 and pregnant women are not allowed on the ride.
