The peak season at the ranch is June to August, with perfect Colorado temperatures of warm days and cool nights. September is the best time for fly-fishing. There is a three day minimum stay, with your arrival starting on Sunday. Most go for a week. Discounted rates are offered in early June, mid August and September for weekly stays.

They are outfitted with private baths, porches and are elegantly decorated making them a true home away from home. Stay by the porch and gaze at the magnificent panoramic view of southwest Colorado. With an elevation of 7,500 feet, you’re sure to always have beautiful starry night skies with the winking lights seemingly just within reach.
You can choose your cabin depending on the number of people you’re with. Each cabin is uniquely decorated with western decoy. Choose between Longview & Pueblo, Birdhouse, Fishpond & the Den, Lake & Remuda, Mountain & the Woodlands and Storm Shelter & Durango. They also have a very talented chef providing you with only the most scrumptious meals, making sure you never want to leave.
Recreation at the guest ranch
Whether it’s your first time or you’re an experience rider, you’ll have a blast horseback riding at Colorado Trails Ranch. The ranch is used to introducing and training novices to ride a horse. There’s also fly fishing at their trout heaven. Learn what it takes to fly fish like a pro. Their staff is very knowledgeable and are always eager to share what they know.
During the evening, you can go line or square dancing in true western fashion. There’s a myriad of other things you can do at the ranch. You can go whitewater rafting, go on a guided hike, swimming, have a go at archery, play volleyball, mediate on the porch, and read books at the library. There are programs for children ages 5 and up. There are babysitters available for those under that age.
