Golden’s Front Range has some of the most spectacular sceneries to see in Colorado, and there’s no better way to experience it than soaring high, obstruction-free with the Colorado Paragliding. They have the most experience in terms of paragliding in the city, employing instructors/pilots with many years of flying experience at Mt. Zion as well as in various locations around the world.
Tandem Paragliding in Golden
While the flight time is anywhere between 15-25 minutes or longer, depending on weather conditions, the whole experience lasts about 1.5-2 hours from meeting in the landing zone parking lot to packing up the gear. A certain level of robustness is necessary as you may be asked to help carry the flying equipment, which weighs about 20-30 lbs, a short way uphill.
Wear good, closed-toe shoes, long pants, a light jacket, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Also bring water and your camera, which you can use while paragliding.
