Established in 1896, Meeker Hotel & Cafe is Northwest Colorado’s oldest hotel that’s still operating today. It’s tucked away in the small ranching town of Meeker and used to be a military barracks.
The building where the Meeker Café originally stands was originally called the Vorges Building and back then served as Meeker’s Post Office Building and a National Bank Building.
Room Types
The hotel has 14 rooms designed with modern and antique touches, some of which have a separate sitting area and a view of Main Street. All rooms have a private bathroom, wifi, and flat-screen television. Guests also have access to the balcony, fireplace, and guest lounge. Some rooms are named after famous people who have visited the hotel like Gary Cooper and Eleanor Roosevelt.
The hotel’s premier and biggest accommodation, the penthouse apartment, includes two bedrooms, a full-size kitchen, a living room area, and a shower bathroom. The room gives their guests a pleasant view of downtown Meeker.
