The John A. Dobson Ice Arena is the largest multi-purpose rink on the Western Slope. It features public-skate times, classes, leagues, and competitions. Year-round, you can skate, play hockey and try broomball.
Events at the arena include Story Time Skate in conjunction with the Vail Library, Vail Invitational Skating Championships, and even mixed-martial-arts competitions and concerts. Students of all ages and levels can receive private skate lessons. Learn beginning skating, figure skating, and power skating for hockey. Equipment rentals are available on-site.
