Silverton’s Kendall Mountain Recreation Area hosts a winter outdoor ice rink. Ice skating is available from December to March, weather permitting. Ice skating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding are permitted at any time during the season.
Ice skating at Kendall Mountain is available as conditions allow. Skate rentals are available. There is a concession stand inside that’s open when the ski area is open.
The town of Silverton boasts several restaurants and bars, in addition to an expert ski area and heli-skiing.
