Tucked away in funky, eclectic Nederland, Augustina’s Winery is a one-woman show dedicated to adventurous, easy-drinking wines. Established in 1997, it was Boulder County’s first winery and remains a locals’ favorite.
The year round tasting room is situated in a strip plaza called Caribou Village complex just south of the Carousel of Happiness, in the center of town. It’s open Thursday through Sunday at 1pm.
Colorado-Grown Wine made in Nederland
All Augustina’s wines are made from 100% Colorado grown grapes. The majority of the varietals comes from the Western Slope, however, she does source a good amount from local Boulder County vineyards, as well as Colorado’s Eastern Plains.
Gussie Walter started Augustina’s Winery for:
the folks who like to have adventures, then laugh about them later on while having a glass of easy drinkin’ local wine.
