Boulder Beer Company is Colorado’s first craft brewery, opened in 1979. It was the 43rd brewing license issued in the United States. The original brewpub was closed up and sold in 2020 and today their beer lineup is brewed by Sleeping Giant Brewing in Denver and available in more than two dozen states and multiple countries.
One of Boulder Beer’s best-known brews is a hoppy session ale called Hazed, a refreshed version of the former Hazed & Infused. Other year-round favorites are Shake Chocolate Porter, Mojo IPA, Sweaty Betty, Buffalo Gold, Singletrack Rye Ale, and Pulp Fusion. They also have seasonal, limited-release beers and The Dude Series.
