FacebookTwitter

When picturing Aspen, Colorado, most would think of ski slopes, 14,000-foot peaks, clean, crisp air, and of course, the beautiful aspen trees. Lost Forest in Snowmass Village is where the outdoors meets exhilarating entertainment.

With all the outdoor adventure Colorado has to offer, Lost Forest manages to harness it all into one location. It creates a one-stop destination to all outdoor enthusiasts visiting one of the nation’s most notoriously breathtaking mountain towns. Such as locals enjoy their pristine location for natural beauty and adventure, those who visit Lost Forest will tap into the not-so-hidden wonders of the Rocky Mountains.

Alpine Adventure Park near Aspen

There are several exciting attractions at Lost Forest park. This summer adventure park is a hit for all ages, with a different activities from disc golf to an alpine coaster.

Breathtaker Alpine Coaster – For the adrenaline seekers, ride an alpine coaster that whips through the trees at speeds of up to 28 miles per hour. It’s open in the winter season as well, so you can combine your alpine coaster with snow tubing.

Canopy Run Zipline Tour – Buzz down a zipline through the canopy and rappel on the way back down on a course that boasts the nation’s only diagonal rappel.

Rugged Ascent Climbing Wall – Climb the Rugged Ascent Climbing wall, sporting 14 climbing lanes and an autobelay perfect for the most experienced alpinist and beginner alike.

Elevated Journey Hiking Trails – For a slower-paced enjoyment of the great Colorado outdoors patrons will enjoy the Elevated Journey hiking trails, which hug the peaks of mountains while eliminating the grueling ascent hike.

Aerial Approach Disc Golf – At Aerial Approach, visitors can try their hand at one of the most rapidly growing sports, disc golf. The only location in Colorado to boast two 18-hole courses, Lost Forest is a perfect place to practice novice skills or sharpen the flick of the wrist for a seasoned disc golfer.

Treeline Trial Challenge Course – This fun challenging aerial park is suitable for those 12 years and older (or younger if accompanied by an adult). Features include bridges, ladders, rappels, ziplines and an exciting treeline obstacle course. There are five levels of difficulty (easy to hard): Lily Pads, Snakes & Ladders, Eagle Walk, Spider Web and Islands in the Sky.

Trout Hook Fishing Pond – Finally, and definitely not least, enjoy one of Colorado’s simplest pleasures, trout fishing, at the Trout Hook Fishing Pond. Guests will be guaranteed the serenity the sport of fishing has to offer and remain hopeful a trout will nibble on the end of their line. Just be sure to bring your own bait and tackle, pole, and fishing license (if older than 16).
