The Nordic Center at Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks offers cross-country skiing just west of US-9 in Silverthorne, Colorado. The trails are also open to snowshoeing throughout the winter season.
The cross-country ski and snowshoe trails are free to use. The two loops are typically groomed weekly, providing classic and skate tracks. The intermediate North Course is around 2.3 miles long and rated “blue”. The beginner South Course is about 2.4 miles long and rated “green”. There are also some designated routes for snowshoeing.
Remember to stay within the roped areas and on the trail. There is no sledding or downhill skiing and snowboarding permitted, nor are dogs allowed. The elevation gain is about 300 feet with a high point of 8,850 ft.
You can access the Silverthorne Nordic Center at the Raven Clubhouse, located at 2929 Golden Eagle Road in the northern part of town. Though the Clubhouse is closed during the winter, one restroom remains open.
