Water Park Attractions
There are over 50 different water attractions, including slides, pools, and rides that cater to visitors of all ages and interests. Whether you’re looking for high-speed thrills or a relaxing day by the pool, Water World has something for everyone.
Some of the most popular water features include the Mile High Flyer, which sends riders soaring through the air at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, and the Voyage to the Center of the Earth, which takes riders on a thrilling journey through an underground tunnel.
Another popular attraction is the Wave Pool, which creates waves up to 4 feet high, simulating the experience of being in the ocean. The park also has several family-friendly options, such as the Big Top Family Fun Zone, which includes a large pool, waterfalls, and a play area for children. You’ll also find lazy rivers, tube slides, and racing slides to keep everyone busy.
The official website has a comprehensive guide to all the attractions, sortable by thrill level and height requirements. This is a helpful tool for planning your day before you arrive at the park to avoid any surprises
Dining
Water World has numerous restaurants and dining options dotted throughout the park serving up all the classic amusement park fare. Take your pick between burgers, pizza, burritos, and chicken tenders along with a few dedicated dessert-stands to satisfy your sweet tooth.
The park has recently rolled out a new mobile ordering system, allowing you to easily order and have your food ready for pickup right when you want it. Additionally, you are welcome to bring your own food and eat throughout the park. There are several pavilions set up specifically for enjoying picnics.
Shopping
For shopping, the Island Breeze Surf Shop offers everything for fun in the sun: swimsuits, sunscreen, sunglasses, sandals, and plenty of souvenirs. Stop by their location next to Cowabunga Beach to browse their offerings next time you’re at Water World.
Upgrades
In the interest of making your day as seamless as possible, there are several ways to upgrade your experience at Water World. Reserve a private cabana or bungalow so you spend less time searching for available chairs, or rent a locker to ensure your belongings stay safe and dry.
Tube Valet is helpful if you don’t want to lug bulky tubes around the park to each ride, and lines for the valet wristband holders are typically much shorter on all attractions. Lastly, opt for Premier Parking to guarantee parking spots right next to the entrance gates for an easy way home at the end of a long day.
