Home to the first World Mountain Bike Championship, the Purgatory Resort Bike Park offers 14 trails of varying difficulties, plus access to other nearby trails that surround the park. All of the trails are accessible from the base area, as well as Lifts 1 and 4.
Tickets for the lifts can be bought from their ticket office located in the Purgatory Village. There are plenty of bike shops in town or on the mountain, where bike rentals can be made.
Mountain Bike Park in Durango

Divinity Flow Trail is La Plata County’s only chairlift-served downhill flow trail. It’s a 1.5-mile intermediate trail, showcasing jumps, berms, hits, flyovers, boardwalks, and wallride. Most of the obstacles are rollable, so they are good for anybody.
There are four mountain biking lessons available:
Summit to Base Tour – takes 90 minutes and includes a 4-hour bike rental with helmet and pads. Together with an expert guide, discover trails that suit your ability as well as other secret spots you will surely like.
First Timer Lesson – takes 90 minutes and includes a 4-hour bike rental with helmet and pads. Half-day ticket is included as well, and requires a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 6 people.
Beginner Lesson – takes 90 minutes and includes a 4-hour bike rental with helmet and pads. Half-day ticket is included as well, and requires a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 6 people.
Intermediate Lesson – takes 90 minutes and includes a 4-hour bike rental with helmet and pads. Half-day ticket is included as well, and requires a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 6 people.
