Established in 1986, Good Times Adventures is the only snowmobile and dog sled operator in Summit County. It’s located only a few minutes from downtown Breckenridge.
All of Good Times’ sleds are brand new every season. Over forty miles of serene groomed trails provide a plethora of terrain for snowmobiling. Choose between two and three hours tours to Georgia Pass at 11,585 feet. They ride snow or shine.
Tours will lead to you open meadows, where you can really let loose and practice your snowmobiling. Snow suits and boots are provided free of charge with any tour. There’ also complimentary hot chocolate back at the lodge.
Drivers must be 18+ can passengers and those 15-17 may drive a snowmobile with no passengers. Anyone under 15 may only be a passenger. Two people max per snowmobile and a total weight of 400 pounds. Children under 4 and pregnant women are not permitted on any of the tours.
Up to six guests take turns mushing on a six mile dog sled tour. One adult drives, one rides in the dog sled, and others ride in a sleigh with the guide. The tour last a little more than an hour. Tours run daily during peak seasons, with the office closed on Mondays during slower times.
Remember to dress warmly in layers, ski gear, gloves, neck warmers and sunglasses or goggles. Good Times has gear to purchase as well. Bring sunscreen and a camera with extra batteries.
