Located in Denver, Big Bear Ice Arena houses a couple of rinks that can be used for any purpose, with available equipment rentals on the side. Formerly one of Lowry Air Force Base’s hangars, the arena offers skating classes for all ages and skill levels.
Other programs being offered include hockey (young and adult), ice dancing, and yoga (for skaters). The entire venue can also be rented for special occasions like birthday parties and tournaments. Arena and public skating times are posted on their website. Convenient parking is available for customers as well.
There are numerous other ice skating rinks in Denver, even some outdoor rinks in the winter.
