Unfortunately, at 58 years of operation, the Honnen Ice Arena permanently closed its doors. However, if you’re looking for somewhere to skate in Colorado, there are plenty of options.
Once housed at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Honnen Ice Arena offered public sessions on its gorgeous year-round rink. In the past, all levels are welcome, from novice to expert. Open skate times varied, but there’s usually one two-hour session, once per day, every day of the week.
