Nestled in the northeastern part of Longmont’s Roosevelt Park, the Ice Pavilion is certainly one of the town’s top winter attractions. It typically opens for the season in mid-November in time for Thanksgiving.
The pavilion was first opened and privately owned in 2003, and was acquired by the city government in 2004. Open throughout the winter months, it has various offerings ranging from public skating, hockey hours, skating lessons, and hosting private events.
Fees and schedules of these programs can all be found on the local government’s website. Be sure to visit the pavilion after enjoying the Park’s wonderful Christmas light displays.
