Open daily during the season at Southlands, The Pond Ice Rink is the place to skate in Aurora. It’s located on the southern end of town, just north of Parker and nearby CO-E470.
There is an admission fee to skate, and skate rentals are available for a small charge. It’s open from Thanksgiving week through February, weather permitting. Hours do vary from day to day, so it’s best to check online before visiting.
After ice skating in Aurora, the Southlands is loaded with restaurants for all tastebuds. It’s a big commercial district, with plenty of shopping and entertainment. Maybe see a matinee movie before your evening ice skating.
