Colorado West offers rugged 4×4 fun in the heart of the San Juan Mountains. They provide Jeep tours and rentals, as well as ATVs and offer guided group tours.
Jeep Rentals
Private Jeep rentals are available. Drivers must be at least 25 with a driver’s license, proof of liability, and insurance. The area around Ouray has the most backcountry roads above 10,000 feet in the U.S.
ATV Rentals
Rent a two or four-person Razor UTV. Once you hit the pedal, you’re in for an adventure! These fast-moving ATVs are agile and smooth. Drivers must be 21 years old with a driver’s license. Passengers must be 5 years old with a parent or guardian.
Scenic Tour
Scenic truck tours are offered as well, for those who just want to sit back and soak it in. San Juan Mountain Tours explore ghost towns, mining relics, and incredible vistas. Bottled water, blankets, and rain gear are supplied. Vehicles hold up to 12 passengers.
