It all started only as a dream 10 years before for founder Richard Barry, but he was adamant to turn his vision into a reality. He began by renting a warehouse in Denver where he worked with his ideas.
Current owners Brian Cichowitz and Ken Sawyer continue to build upon Richard’s inimitable Yurt Cabin design. With a focus on increased production capacity and top-level customer service, they are making the Yurt Cabin available to more people than ever before.
Each yurt comes with a unique flooring system, precision crafted walls made of Lodgepole Pine dowels, interior rafters and ceiling also made out of Lodgepole Pine dowels, strong yet lightweight steel roof ring, DuroLast covers, Low-E glass windows, and 9-Lite fiberglass doors.
One of Freedom Yurt Cabin’s most striking feature is its portability. As mentioned earlier, its innovative foundation system requires very minimal preparation and as such, lets the owner move the yurt leaving negligible footprints only. Freedom Yurt Cabins can also be installed on any platform due to its built-in leveling system, and can be accomplished in only 3 to 5 days.
