Westminster City Park houses a number of features for the whole family to enjoy. From train rides to fun slides, and even dinosaurs, guests will be well entertained in the park.

Other features include a basketball court, a soccer field, a softball field, an 18-hole disc golf area, a playground for the children, some picnic tables, a skatepark, and a pavilion for reserved events. The park is 205 acres.

If you want a one-for-all location for parties or gatherings, this is the best place in Westminster to do it. Athletic types can enjoy the sports fields, with soccer common.

Fishing enthusiast are welcome to fish at the Lake/Creek, skaters can have a go at the skatepark, and a families can have lunch in the assigned picnic areas. And then spend the rest of the day in the playground. If you want to host an event here, reservations are welcome.

Disc Golf – An 18-hole year round disc golf course is free for use.

Fishing – Permitted in the lake and creek.

Hiking – The Big Dry Creek Trail winds through the City Park on its journey from Standley Lake to Interstate 25.

Picnicking – Picnic tables can be found.

Playground – Various playground attractions can be found.

Skating – A skate park welcomes skate boarders and roller laders.
