Fort Collins Municipal Railway

Fort Collins Municipal Railway
Fort Collins Municipal Railway runs through town.

From 1919 to 1951, Fort Collins Municipal Railway operated streetcars in downtown Fort Collins. In 1984, part of a former route began operating as a seasonal heritage streetcar service. Take a ride on an old Birney Car 21 through beautiful streets of Fort Collins.

The train trolley has been restyled back to its 1919 ambiance. It rings a classic two-chime as it tours through the historic district. The ride covers a few miles over thirty minutes.
