Situated on Gore Creek, the Vail Whitewater Park is a mecca for kayaking and river surfing in the spring and summer. It’s also the whitewater capital of the Summer Mountain Games.

The park is situated in Vail Village by the International Bridge. Each year, they host the Summer Mountain Games, which include kayaking, rock climbing, biking, slacklining, and more competitions. There are also whitewater rafting trips that depart daily during the season on the nearby Eagle River. They range from Class I to V.
