Three Days Skiing in Val d’Isere, France

Val D Isere Ski Resort
Val D'Isere and Tignes in France.
January 22, 2013 by Matt Thomas

Val d’Isere is a massive ski resort located in Southeast France near the Italian border. It’s home to endless skiing in nearly every direction and is interconnected with Tignes Resort.

Most of the skiing is above the tree line in what feels like a different world. No matter where you look you see skiers heading in all directions.

This video shows views from around Val d’Isere and Tignes, France. It’s large, so it may need to be loaded before playing, just hit play and then pause to load.

Day One: A sunny day.

Day Two: Clouds rolled in on day two, and it snowed later in the day.

Day Three: After snowing all night the Sun made a triumphant return for the third and last day of skiing.
