The original Fraser Tubing Hill features a lift tow system and a variety of lanes of varying speeds. It’s situated less than ten minutes from Winter Park, behind downtown Fraser, Colorado.
This historic snow tubing park is a fun way to start your day or wind down your night in Grand County! It’s open daily during the winter season from 10am to 10pm. There’s an easy lift to the top and the parking lot is only a short walk from the hill.
Snow Tubing near Winter Park
Tubers are welcome to get a running start or connect tubes together to really get down fast. The warming hut offers a variety of snacks and drinks. Tubers must be 7 years or older to ride their own, and children 3 to 6 can ride double with an adult.
You can sit or lay on the tube. There is a lift system to get you back to the top effortlessly. Snow tubing is available in either 60 or 90 minute sessions. Tube rentals are first-come-first-serve, and you can’t bring your own. You can share a tube rental with a friend, although only one person can ride at once.
After your session you can warm up in the Main Builder, which has a roaring fireplace. There’s also restrooms and aa snack bar for refreshments.
Getting There
To get there take a left on County Rd 72 at stop light in Winter Park, just before downtown Fraser. Follow signs to tubing hill. Take a left at fork to go up to Fraser Tubing Hill.
If Fraser Hill is too crowded, there is another tubing hill at Colorado Adventure Park, across the way.
