Arapahoe is a tiny unincorporated community spread across eastern Colorado by the Kansas border. To the east is Cheyenne Wells, the County Seat.
The original town of Arapahoe was founded in 1859 in modern day Jefferson County, and is now a withered ghost town. Arapahoe was restablished at the present day site in 1870. There is an Arapahoe Post Office, built in 1910, with zip code 80802.
