Founded in 1973, Mountain Trip offers American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA) accredited guides to accompany your Colorado ventures: rock and ice climbing, via ferrata mountain trips, backcountry skiing, and high alpine trekking. Their trained guides take you on a customized exploration and educate you about Telluride’s rich natural and cultural origins.
Remnants of the former mining towns are still visible in these mountains. Mountain Trip offers half-day and full-day trips, as well as overnight excursions between 2 to 7 days. These longer trips take you across unoccupied alpine landscapes and far reaches of the San Juan mountains that have diverse ecosystems. Food is provided.
