Every November, WinterSkate builds an outdoor ice-skating rink at The Shops at Northfield in Denver, a 1.1 million-square-foot, open-air entertainment and lifestyle center. It opens for the season in late November and runs through February.
Skate rentals are included in the admission price and available from a child’s size 8 to a men’s size 14. Ice skating is free for children 3 and under.
Break the Ice Event
WinterSkate is inaugurated with the “Break the Ice” holiday celebration event. The festivities include a Santa appearance, face painting, holiday arts and crafts, aerial performers, and ice skating performances. This annual event is free and open to the public.
The ice rink is open daily for skating during the season. There’s a Old Town Skate in Louisville.
