In the summer, Durango’s Purgatory Resort features two alpine slides, approximately 2,300 feet in length. You take a chair lift up and race down the mountain.

The resort also features a lot of other entertaining attractions, including a zip line, mountain bike park, and climbing wall.

Summer Alpine Slide in Durango

Enjoy your journey more than a half mile down Purg’s summer slope. Purchase single tickets for the alpine slide, or a Total Adventure Ticket, which grants inclusive access to the resorts other summer activities.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 3 years old and 36 inches tall to ride with adult.
  • Must be at least 6 years old and 42 inches tall to ride solo.
  • Closed toe shoes recommended.
