Opened in 2003 and formerly known as Golden Gulch Casino, Bally’s Black Hawk East is a smaller casino with a lot of vibrant gaming action. It also has two neighboring casinos, Bally’s Black Hawk West and Bally’s Black Hawk North.
Unique to the Bally’s Black Hawk East is the ability to gamble inside a former jail. The old Black Hawk Jail is now full of slot machines waiting to ring out a winner. In total there are around 140 slot and video poker machines to choose from. Free parking is available and shared with the parking garage at Bally’s Black Hawk West.
Dining Options
Bar-wise, Bally’s Black Hawk East has you covered with the Golden Gulch Bar. All your craft beer, fine wine, and mixed drinks are on the menu. There’s also a snack bar, but dining-wise, you’ll be best off heading to one of its sister casinos, either Bally’s Black Hawk North or Bally’s Black Hawk West for full-service restaurants. Horseshoe Casino and Lady Luck are also close by.
