The Midnight Rose Hotel and Casino is a locals’ favorite in Cripple Creek for a variety of reasons. It’s got a classic Victorian-era vibe, two spacious floors of exciting gaming, nice overnight accommodations, and the biggest poker room in town.

If you enjoy a competitive game of live poker, the Midnight Rose Poker Room is the only place to be in Cripple Creek. It’s situated on the first floor of the casino, plus it’s got its entrance on East Bennett Ave. It’s the largest poker room in town, and my last time around, it was the only poker room in town.
There’s also a game going on, with plenty of tables going on the peak weekends and evenings. They have multiple limits and no-limit Texas Hold’Em games, as well as regular tournaments. You can pick up a tournament schedule in the Poker Room.
Dining & Hotel Accommodations
Tucked away on the lower level of Midnight Rose, The Down Under is the place to go to grub out. They host a Prime Rib and Seafood Buffet from Thursday through Sunday. More casual fare can be found at Dynamite Dick’s on the casino’s second floor. They serve tasty food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Situated directly above the Midnight Rose Casino is one of the top hotels in Cripple Creek. They have a nice section of cozy rooms, with either queen or king beds, an LCD TV, free coffee and WiFi, as well as a coupon for discounted food.
Whether you’re staying in Teller County the whole time or want to venture the 44 miles to Colorado Springs, the region is easy to travel and loaded with attractions and recreation. The hotel makes a perfect base for exploration.
