Vista Verde Guest Ranch – Clark

The Vista Verde Guest Ranch transforms the lives of guests as they are brought closer to nature, themselves, and their families. This luxury dude ranch offers an all-inclusive, one-of-a-kind vacation from June through late October and from mid-December through early March.

There are multiple ways to get to the ranch and the best option depends on when the guests decide to visit the place. During both summer and winter, staff can pick up guests from the Yampa Valley Regional Airport so they can be better transported through the snowy roads. During the summer, guests can go for a 3 1/2 hour scenic drive from Denver International Airport.

The ranch has uniquely decorated cabins, which range from one to four bedrooms and lodge rooms named the Pearl, Mica, or Gilpin. All lodging units have private baths, snack bars, coffee maker, hairdryer, and other modern amenities. Cabins have burning stoves and hot tubs on the deck enabling guests to look at the billions of stars as they relax.

Daily housekeeping is also provided, however, there are no televisions or phones. Guests can connect to wireless internet at the Main Lodge at no charge.

Food at the ranch is home-cooked and made by talented chefs. Ingredients are organically raised and the meat is hormone and antibiotic-free. Guests can expect their meals to be made of fresh and the best ingredients. Furthermore, beer and wine are served every evening with dinner.

During summer and autumn, activities available are horseback riding, fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, paddleboarding, photography, yoga, rafting, kayaking, and getting a relaxing massage. Guests can also take on a culinary adventure with a cooking class and wine tasting.

The ranch transforms into a winter wonderland during the snowy season as guests can go cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing, sleigh rides, fat biking, snowmobiling, and dog sledding. Other optional adventures, such as downhill skiing and snowboarding at available at the nearby Steamboat Ski Resort.

The horse program, photography, yoga, massage, and the kid’s program are always available. At the ranch, guests can experience an intimate connection with animals, especially the horses within just a week. When it’s time for visitors to leave the ranch, they are more refreshed, alive and families more bonded.
