The Aspen Inn is a boutique hotel located in downtown Creede across the street from the renowned Creede Repertory Theatre. The dog-friendly hotel is housed in a historic building constructed in 1892.
The inn offers 4 suites to choose from:
Spring Suite – has 1 King bed and a sitting area with an electric fireplace, and another room with a Queen bed and a 4-seat table as well as a second electric fireplace. The suite shares a bathroom located off the queen room. A swamp cooler is provided when the weather warms, and there are ceiling fans.
Starry Suite – single queen bed with a private bathroom and sitting area warmed by an electric fireplace.
Summer Suite – single queen bed with a private bathroom and sitting area warmed by an electric fireplace. A sofa bed is offered as well, which can sleep 2.
Fall Suite – single King bed with large windows.
Creede is a mining town turned tourist town. The area is loaded with hiking trails and spectacular day trips like the Alpine Loop, North Clear Creek Falls, and Treasure Falls, among many others. ATV trails abound, but please STAY ON THE TRAILS.
Great Sand Dune (90 mins), Wolf Creek (45 mins), Pagosa Springs (75 mins), and Lake City (75 mins) can all be easily accessed for day excursions.
