A modern, boutique bed and breakfast, the Flora House Denver is nestled in the heart of the action between East Colfax Avenue and Cheesman Park. While the Victorian Mansion it is housed in was built in 1892, it was renovated in 2022 and feels like an upscale boutique hotel.
As its name implies, there are plenty of live plants found throughout the Flora House. In the backyard is a Private Garden, where guests enjoy the hot tub, fire pit, bubbling fountain, and organic vegetable garden. 5280 Magazine named the Flora House “Top New Hotel 2023”.
Room Types
There are 7 rooms to choose from spread across 3 floors. Each comes with an en-suite bathroom, which is stocked with organic toiletries, as well as a yoga mat, humidifier, and coffee maker. All overnight guests are provided a daily ‘Fancy Continental’ breakfast.
- Silver Fern Suite— 2 guests, 352 sq. ft.
- Zinnia— 2 guests, 225 sq. ft.
- Wildflower— 2 guests, 230 sq. ft.
- Orchid Suite— 4 guests, 465 sq. ft.
- Iris Suite— 5 guests, 545 sq. ft.
- Stargazer Suite and Haycinth (make up a double suite) — 4 guests, 675 sq. ft.
- Lilac Queen Suite — 4 guests, 280 sq. ft.
To practice sustainability, each room is equipped with recycling and composting bins. Rooms can be rented on a nightly basis or the entire Flora House can be rented for Private Events when available. In total, it houses 23 overnight guests, with up to 100 guests at the property during an event.
The Flora House has a full liquor license and an in-house Sommelier offering a fantastic selection of wines by the bottle.
A contactless check-in and check-out process is utilized ensuring a flexible and easy experience. Check-in time starts at 3 pm MT and check-out is by 11 am.
