The World Arena Ice Hall is a world-class training facility with two rinks: an NHL and an Olympic-sized ice rink. Athletes from all over the world come for expert off-ice and on-ice training programs. There are also four jump harnesses, video analysis, and a ballet studio.
Public skating is available throughout the year and skates can be rented for a small fee. Pick-up hockey is limited to 20 skaters and 3 goalies, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Players must be 18+ and can register two hours before starting.
Professional figure skaters, the Broadmoor Skating Club, the D1 Colorado College Men’s Hockey team, the Colorado Gold Speedskating Club, and the Broadmoor Curling club as well as a number of youth, high school, and adult hockey leagues all use the Ice Arena’s facilities.
