The South Suburban Ice Arena is known to host annual state competitions and, as such, is a nationally recognized ice skating complex where many Olympic skaters had their beginning. Situated in the Denver suburb of Centennial and open year-round, the arena features two ice rinks, one with an 800-seating capacity and the other with 300.
Coaches are known to be incomparable and offer competitive figure skating or ice hockey lessons. Aside from the rinks, other amenities include arcade games, concessions, skate rentals, locker rooms, snack bars, and skate sharpening services. Rental rooms are also available for holding special occasions.
Additionally, the Family Sports Ice Arena is also in Centennial and features two NHL-sized rinks.
