Vail’s Ice Rink is a small outdoor ice skating rink open daily during the winter season. It’s located in the Lionshead Village, which is just west of the main Vail Village.
Located near shops, restaurants, and lodging, there are free shuttles to take you from Vail Village to Lionshead. For a larger indoor ice rink in Vail, the Dobson Ice Arena is open year-round and features public skating, private lessons, hockey, and special events like concerts.
The main winter activity at the resort is downhill skiing and snowboarding.
