Ramble at Mesa Verde National Park is a premium glamping campground in Southwest Colorado. This luxury campground is situated in a beautiful high-desert forest between Mancos and Cortez.

Adventure Campground near Mesa Verde National Park

There are several campsite types at Ramble at Mesa Verde, all with luxury amenities.
Adventure Campsite — These sites have a canvas shelter and picnic table for up to 4. There is a stove, grill and smokeless fire pit. 100 feet of space separate the walk-in Adventure Campsites, nestled amongst the juniper trees. Flush toilets and hot showers are less than a 5-minute walk from all campsites. There is one vehicle allowed per site, and RVs/trailers are not allowed. Overflow parking is available.
Signature Campsite — The secluded Signature Campsites sleep up to 6 people and have a kitchen with a sink, stove, and grill. There is a picnic table that seats up to 6 and a smokeless fire pit. Flush toilets and hot showers are less than a 5-minute walk. Cars, rooftop tents, and camper vans are allowed, but RVs and trailers are not.
Signature Plus Campsite — Located on the outer loop, the solar-powered Signature Plus Campsites sleep up to 8 people. The covered kitchen has a grill, stove, and sink. There is a smokeless fire pit, hammocks, and a picnic setup for up to 8 people. Flush toilets and hot showers are under a 5-minute walk. Two vehicles are permitted with overflow parking available.
Group Campsite — Found at the southern end of the campground, the Group Campsite sleeps 20. It has a solar-paneled kitchen with double-range stoves, a big grill, sinks, and seating for 12. A large fit pit, daybed, cornhole boards, and hammocks are additional amenities. Flush toilets and hot showers are less than a 6-minute walk. Up to 6 vehicles are allowed with overflow parking permitted at the Welcome Center.

The entrance to Mesa Verde National Park is situated ten miles from the Ramble campground, about a fifteen-minute drive.
The beloved Phil’s World Trail System is located right next to Ramble at Mesa Verde. You can ride your mountain bike from your campsite and connect with these iconic trails.



There is another Ramble at Great Sand Dunes for those interested in exploring the San Luis Valley.
