Constructed in 2010, the Veterans’ Bridge crosses the Arkansas River in Southern Colorado. It’s located at the Pueblo Riverwalk, found in downtown Pueblo.

Nearly 7,000 names of veterans adorn the sides of the bridge, honoring their sacrifice to our country. Pueblo is actually nicknamed the “Home of Heroes”, given its high amount of local veterans. The city is home to four Medal of Honor recipients.

The Veterans’ Bridge was built without any governmental funds, instead sourcing funds from private donors. Go for a walk along the Arkansas River at the Pueblo Riverwalk.
