Head up to the rooftop for your next happy hour or night on the town. Let’s look at the best spots in Denver to toast your glass at elevation and set your gaze on the horizon.
Halo Rooftop Bar

Halo is the highest open-air rooftop bar in the city and one of the only few that is open in the winter. It’s located within the Kimpton Claret Hotel in the Belleview Station neighborhood, of the Denver Tech Center. Take the Belleview exit of I-25. Then head on up to the 19th floor to discover the unobstructed Rocky Mountain views from Halo.
This combination indoor/outdoor space is open year-round with heated fireplaces to elevate the ambiance. Soak in the scenery, as you overlook Greenwood Village and the Cherry Creek Reservoir. The indoor lounge hosts live entertainment four nights per week, while the outdoor terrace is perfect for a date night or after-work refreshment.
Even inside the views are spectacular through large glass doors and windows. It’s open seven days per week starting at 2 pm on the weekends and 4 pm on weekdays. Live music is featured Wednesday through Saturday with rotating artists.
A menu of sharable plates is offered and you can reserve private dining here as well by contacting sales@clarethotel.com. Happy hour is every day from 4 to 6 pm.

The newest addition to Halo is the Sky Lodge. It’s a private dining experience that accepts just one reservation time per day. This allows you and your guests to savor the sunset and spend more time under the stars.
Inside this glass “greenhouse” are 180-degree views of the surrounding sights. Blankets and heaters are provided and there is a private outdoor fireplace for groups.
You can reserve the Sky Lodge at Halo for groups of 4 to 10. There is a food and beverage minimum and 20% gratuity added to all checks.
