The base of Snowmass Mountain turns in a mecca for mountain biking each summer season. Snowmass Bike park features nearly 3,000 feet of breathtaking vertical.
The bike park opens in the third week of June and runs daily until Labor Day, after which it runs weekends through the end of September.
Mountain Biking Trails at Snowmass Mountain
The trails throughout the park are well managed and efficiently connected. Difficult trails include the three V’s: Viking, Vapor and Valhalla, each will test your technical capabilities. The combination of evergreen and aspen filled forests, along with expansive alpine meadows, makes for a magical environment.
The Elk Camp Gondola and Chairlift both serve bikers and open at 10am. Certain Tuesdays in July and August are Bonus Bike Nights. Lift-served biking continues until dusk. Both single day and multi-day tickets are available, as well as season passes. A variety of bike rentals are available. Both clinics and private lessons are offered daily.
