Fargo’s Pizza Company is an iconic eatery in Colorado Springs, open since December 1973. This vast pizzeria spans 16,000 square feet and features a one-of-a-kind Victorian-era ambiance.
There is a large free parking lot to accommodate 175 cars and seating spread across two spacious floors. The restaurant opens for lunch every day at 11 am and runs until 8 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 9 pm, Friday to Sunday.
History

It was founded by a couple of brothers from Missouri, Leon and Landon Gardner. They based the name on an old mountain legend named Fargo, a “hard-drinking, straight-shooting, freethinking gambler.”
Fargo met Sophia in the Rocky Mountains, whose family migrated from Italy. With no money but a book of family Italian restaurants, they opened an authentic Italian restaurant at the base of Pikes Peak.
Dining

Upon entry at Fargo’s, you’ll order at the counter, and you can seat yourself anywhere available on either floor. Orders will be available for pick-up at the counter.
The menu features a range of pizzas and Italian classics. Popular pasta dishes include Spaghetti with Sophia’s Meat Sauce, Pasta Alfredo, and Cheese Ravioli. Pair your meal with garlic cheese bread or garlic knots.
Build your own pizza or choose from over two dozen specialty pies. Fargo’s Favorite Pizza is topped with Canadian bacon, tomatoes, and beef, while Sophia’s Special Pizza has beef, mushrooms, pepperoni, and salami.

There’s a salad bar you can add on to your meals, which includes a lot of choices. Soups include vegetable beef soup and chicken noodle soup. Sandwiches like French Dip, pulled pork, and BLT are on the menu as well.
Dine in at this landmark restaurant or order your food for pick-up/delivery online.
Arcade

There is a large room for playing arcade games. Compete in everything from racing games to Jurassic Park. This makes a great venue for birthday parties.
