Winterhawk Dogsled Adventures offers both winter dog sled tours and summer-led cart tours in stunning Leadville. Tours are led by a team of Alaskan Huskies with half-day adventures departing daily during the season. You have the option of bundling up and riding on the sled or taking lead on the runners, and guiding the dogs.
There is a 350-pound weight limit, riders must be at least 4 years old and no pregnant women. Transportation is provided to and from Vail and Beaver Creek. Summer cart tours are pulled by dogs and included a visit to the kennel. It’s a unique activity that’s fun for all ages. The tour lasts two hours and includes snacks and beverages.
