The Colorado Cattle Company transforms dreams of having the cowboy life into a reality. At their northeastern Colorado ranch, they don’t just create the cowboy life, they live it. It’s a working ranch, which means that you need to be at least 18 to stay at the ranch.
Where our guests are the Cowboys. – Colorado Cattle Company
Working dude ranch in Northeast Colorado

They offer a truly one-of-a-kind vacation by letting you experience a very memorable and fun-filled adventure at the ranch. You’ll be encouraged to live life as a cowboy doing the same thing they do, such as branding, sorting, moving and gathering cattle. They welcome guests from May to October, and often sell out of their limited availability during certain weeks, so reserve your spot well in advance.
When you want to have a unique vacation on your own, with your friends, or even for a corporate retreat, the Colorado Cattle Company is perfect. Everything about the ranch is enjoyable: the view, the air, the stars, all the animals, the staff and your very stay as a fellow cowboy or cowgirl. If it’s a true western life you want to experience for your next vacation, head to the Great Plains in Weld County.
Recreation at the guest ranch

There are a ton of exciting things to do such as horseback riding, fishing at the lovely pond, having an overnight camp-out, or taking a dip at the pool and hot tub. You can also do some roping practice, shooting practice or simply relax by the campfire or your cabin porch.
Lodging at the guest ranch

For your accommodation, you can choose to stay at either a deluxe room or in one of the log cabin duplexes. Some of the deluxe rooms were built during 1897 and more have been added during 1909 and 1921.
All rooms are uniquely decorated, and equipped with air conditioning, heat control, refrigerator, coffee maker and everything else you need. Regardless of where you choose to stay, you’ll definitely be brought back to the good old times of the Old West.
