Georgetown’s Hotel Chateau Chamonix was a luxurious boutique property designed to resemble the atmosphere of the French Alps. This exquisite European-style lodge in the heart of the historic area was the ideal spot to get away from it all among breathtaking mountain vistas.

The Loveland Ski Area is only a 10-minute drive, and the trip to Denver takes around an hour from this former 3-star, smoke-free hotel. The property’s environment was meant to be a peaceful retreat, so dogs, infants, and noisy youngsters were not welcome.

Before making a reservation, it was best to ask about the hotel’s rules for families if you planned to travel with kids. They also didn’t handle weddings or reunions because of this policy.

After checking in to the Hotel Chateau Chamonix, guests were offered a complimentary glass of wine. Each morning, a continental breakfast with juice, coffee, fruit, and pastries was brought to each guest room.

There were common areas inside and outside for guests to relax, and a hot tub on the upper level is a great place to meet other guests and talk. Downtown Georgetown is a short distance from the hotel, ideal for exploring the town and its shops and restaurants.

The property had ten boutique-style rooms, some of which had creek views. Fireplaces, steam baths, and hot tubs, among other comforts, were some of the in-room perks at this establishment. Each guestroom at the Hotel Chateau Chamonix Georgetown had free WiFi and a 32-inch flat-screen cable TV. A microwave, refrigerator, and coffeemaker were also provided.

All accommodations were 30 m2 and 40 m2 in area. Room types included:
