The Salida Hostel is a Victorian house that was built in 1900 and has been converted into accommodations. The quaint building has beautiful scenery, comfy rooms, easy access to downtown, and plenty of parking.
The budget accommodation is located in downtown Salida, Colorado near the Arkansas River.
Amenities
All visitors are welcome to enjoy the shared indoor and outdoor areas, including the kitchen, dining area, living room, and terrace with fireplace. It’s a quick few minutes walk or drive to the heart of town, and the hostel has private access to the Arkansas River out back, perfect for spending time in nature.
The property is set up with free Wi-Fi to keep visitors connected during their travels and also offers laundry service and baggage storage.
No smoking is allowed inside the hostel, but there is an area outside where guests can light up if they like. This is not a pet-friendly property; however, there are a few good boarding facilities nearby if guests still wish to stay at the Salida Hostel while adventuring with their furry companions.
Lodging
There are five rooms for guests to choose from. On the top floor are four private rooms, each with its own bathroom. On the lower floor, there is a larger, more social family suite/Bunkroom that is perfect for solo travelers in the summer and families looking for ski accommodations in the winter.
All rooms come with complimentary linens. Each room has air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter, with thermostats so you can adjust the temperature to your liking.
